Post Conference Tour
1. Sightseeing in the afternoon of September 18
We have arranged a half-day tour in the city of Beijing after the conference at Sep 18th.
Following lunch there will be a tour of the Summer Palace, the famous resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. There you can tour Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake and take a leisurely walk down the Long Corridor. Then, make photoshot stop at National Stadium (Birds Net) and Water Cube. In the evening you will have supper together before go back to the hotel.
The cost is included in the registration fee.
2. Optional Lab-Tour on September 19
8:30-10:00 Analysis Center of Tsinghua University and Prof. Guoan Luo's Lab, Tsinghua Campus, introduced by Prof. Guoan Luo 10:00-12:00 CapitalBio Biochip, Zhongguancun Life Science Park, introduced by Prof. Jing Cheng.
3. Optional Sightseeing on September 19
We also arranged a one-day tour in Beijing as optional tour.
The excursion today includes a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and Forbidden City, the imperial palace which contains the largest and most intact collection of ancient structures in the world. This was the palace for 24 emperors of the Ming, and Qing Dynasties who ruled China for over 500 years. After lunch, take a trip to the astonishing Great Wall of China, claimed as one of the only man-made structures on Earth that can be observed from the moon.
Cost: RMB280 /per (into groups of 15 or more)
Cost Include: First gate entrance fee for the scenic spots, Basic traffic fee, Lunch, Travel insurance, Guide Service.
Special Attention: Other price to be discussed if the visitors less than 15.
