The 4th International Forum of Post-Genomic Technologies (IFPT’4) had invited 32 speakers for lectures, who were from Japan, Sweden, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, and China. The forum collected about 151 papers, all of which had been embodied by ISTP ( Index to Scientific & Technical Proceedings), and the proceeding of IFPT’4 had also been published in due form. The topics could be classified into 7 themes including Bioinformatics (14), Biosensors and Microarray Technology (17), Nanobiology and Microfluidics (15), Proteome and Biomolecular Functions (12), Genome and Genetic Analysis (35), Cell and Signal Transduction (31) and Abstract(16). An old Chinese proverb says that “in heaven there is a paradise, and on earth there is Hangzhou”. Around the beautiful scenery in Hangzhou, all of the 150 participants had enhanced the academic exchanges and enjoyed the beautiful sights.
