Summary	The 3rd International Forum of Post-Genomic Technologies (IFPT’3) had invited 30 speakers for lectures, who were from Japan, Sweden, USA, Switzerland, Germany,Canada, and China. The forum collected about 136 abstracts, and most of them exchanged on the poster session. The topics which covered many active aspects in post-genomic field could be classified into 5 themes: Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (23), Microarray Technology (16), Biosensors and Microfluidics (19), Biomolecular Functions (29) and Nanobiology (19). Guilin is the most famous place with reputation of “mountains and waters”, and all the participants had enhanced the academic exchanges around the beautiful sights and environments of Guilin.
