Summary	The 1st International Forum of Post-Genomic Technologies (IFPT’1) was held in Northwest University, Xi’an. There were 17 invited experts giving participants their brilliant reports which covered many active aspects in post-genomic field during the forum. Forthmore, all the participants had visited the Biochip Research and Development Center, Northwest University and other laboratories. During such a short time, all the participants had benefited from both the informative presentations and enhanced the academic exchanges.
